Original Art Deco MCM Onyx Blue Brush McCoy Kolorkraft 159 Pottery Vase Crisp

Description: For sale we have an extremely nice scarce Onyx Blue Brush McCoy Art Deco or Mid Century Modern Kolorkraft 159 Art Pottery vase. This vase has a great look and form with an excellent mottled glossy drip style glaze. This vase has a rocket style form with a stepped ringed upper body accented with protruding angular handles. The colors are a rich vibrant blue with white mottling. The colors and mottling are strong and crisp throughout the entire vase with no loss or smudging. This form has the look and feel of the same Era produced Futura Roseville line. We date this beauty to the early 1930's but it certainly posses a MCM look. This is a fresh to the market example in original untouched condition. The example has the base embossed model number 0159. The condition is very nice with no chips, cracks deep scratches or scuffs. There are no stains repairs or alterations. The inside of this vase is clean with no issues. We do not see any crazing on this example. We only see some glaze slips on the bottom of the vase and a few glaze pops on the vases opening. We pictured these areas and they are in the making and mentioned for complete accuracy. This vase is large at approx. 9" in height and it makes a statement when viewed. This is a excellent untouched example with a great Art Deco and Futuristic look and form that would fit well in a MCM collection.
