Description: NOS EMD metal badge that was typically used by EMD Management at events such as trade shows or during customer visits. I believe that this was issued in the 1940's but it could be from sometime in the early 1950's. To insert a name into the badge, you could slip a thin piece of cardboard with the persons name just behind the pin portion on the backside of the badge. You can see a slightly raised portion on the second photo where the cardboard slides in. I will be listing a lot of collectibles from my huge collection of EMD memorabilia over the next couple months. Most everything I have in my collection is either NOS (new old stock) or in excellent used condition.
