Leads include Boris Christoff (bass), Willy Hartmann (tenor), Elisabeth Söderström (soprano), Alexander Young (tenor), Michael Langdon (bass), Kim Borg (bass), Bodil Gøbel (soprano), Sylvia Fisher (soprano), Mogens Berg (bass) and Kirsten Buhl-Møller (soprano). They are accompanied by the Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra and Chorus, and the John Alldis Choir, conducted by Jascha Horenstein. An album-sized 16-page book is included, with notes, a synopsis and lyrics. Also included is a photocopy of the album's review in the July, 1976 issue of The Gramophone.
