NEW Walthers Parkview Terrace Background Building Kit N Scale

Description: I’m an N scale modeler, but being new I bought some things that I later realized I would not use. I am listing these for less than I paid for them and with extensive and accurate descriptions. If you're doing an urban scene, these can't be beat. I grew up in Chicago, and when you ride the elevated trains or the C&NW you see these dilapidated, low-rent buildings backed up to the tracks in the older residential neighborhoods. Built in the 1920's and 30's, the wooden porches are a distinctive feature of midwest architecture, and these are extremely well done. The photos show how I used two of them on my layout, with additional details added. (I thought I would use 3, but one ended up as surplus.) This is an unpainted kit, however it is molded in appropriate colors to give you a good head start. Important: this building is is not full depth, it is designed to be used as background or at the rear edge of a layout. However I think they are deep enough that the illusion of a full-size building is quite convincing, and as you can see that's how I used them.
