I have never used them to play a game. after purchasing I placed them into a storage box. These sell on Chess Bazaar for $575. However currently Ebony is out of stock. Save big when you buy from me and avoid having to have you set shipped from India. I am in the USA and ship lightening fast and free! I noticed upon receiving one of the rooks has a tiny nick in it. other wise these are pretty much perfect. They are made by hand so there is always a few imperfections when you get them. The board and timer shown are for demonstration purposes only... not included! This marvelous Indian-American Luxury series chess set is made up of Ebony and boxwood. The King proudly stands at 4.4 inches and its base is robust 1.9 inches. This is a classic design featuring the magnificent and unique knight. Superb size proportioning from king to the pawn exhibits true intricate craftsmanship in all the pieces. Dark chess pieces are exquisitely crafted in Ebony.
