Description: This recent find comes from Estate of Retired NASA MSFC Aerospace Engineer that was part of ABMA and NASA working with Wernher von Braun on the pioneering Rocket Team. Mr. Thomson was ultimately responsible for the development of the H1, J2 and F1 Rocket Engines and eventually put in charge of the Shuttle "SSME" development in 1968. Lastly from 1971-86 he served as Chief Engineer for the Space Shuttle Main Engine the RS-25. This listing is for a 1968 NASA APOLLO 9 1st Generation CONCEPT PHOTO of the LUNAR ORBITING MODULE. Photo has "CP12068" handwritten in pencil on the edge of the backside and is on "A KODAK PAPER." Photo is approximately 8x10 and is in Very Good overall condition for use and age with some curving/edgewear and a very small tear along the bottom edge (but could easily be framed so it doesn't show) - see last three pictures.
