Spawn / myco bags are used for mushroom cultivation. These bags are made form durable 3 mil polypropylene and measure 10x5x24 inches and have a 0.5 micron filter patch. These bags are ideal for bulk substrate such as compost, wood chips or straw. They are autoclavable, reusable and can be sealed with an impulse sealer. Each bag can easily hold 10-12 pounds of substrate. These bags can be used for spawn production to inoculate bulk substrates like straw or compost, or you can fruit your substrate right inside the bag itself. The breathable technology behind these bags provide gas exchange, but exclude water vapor, so your spawn does not dehydrate.
