Description: Presented here is a Midcentury Vintage Webster Sterling Silver Baby Brush and Comb -No Monogram This beautiful midcentury vintage Baby Brush and Comb are crafted with Sterling Silver frames. It was made by the Webster Co. of Attleboro, MA. The brush has an oval shape without an handle. It has a lovely oval scroll design cartouche for a monogram that is blank. The comb frame has a curved form with no designs. The brush frame is signed WEBSTER – STERLING with a very faint logo. The comb frame is signed STERLING - Logo. For their age they are overall in very good condition. These sterling silver frames had very heavy tarnish and I had to lightly polish them to reveal the makers marks. The brush bristles seem soft and intact but the base shows some settled dust. The frame has visible dents but the overall shape is well maintained. Markings are faint with the partial logo barely visible without magnification. The plastic comb has a few teeth missing. The sterling frame comes off making it easy to replace it with a new one. Markings are clear on the comb frame. This collectible Webster Sterling Silver baby brush and comb set will make an admirable addition to your fine vintage collection.
