Description: Metasco Italy Set of 4 1950s Aluminum Kitchen Canisters For consideration is this set of 4 aluminum kitchen canisters made by Metasco in Italy. These have both a polished and brushed finish and each canister is designated in writing for flour, sugar, coffee and tea and are from the 1950s. The flour canister measures 9 inches tall and 7 inches in diameter. The sugar canister measures 8½ inches tall and 6 inches in diameter. The coffee canister measures 7 inches tall and 5 inches in diameter. The tea canister measures 6 inches tall and 4 inches in diameter. These will nest with the lids turned upside down on the 3 smaller canisters. The bases are heavily scuffed and there is no makers mark. The lids fit securely but all have dents although none of the canisters are dented. The knobs are not Bakelite and they have been tested with Simichrome polish. These are in good vintage condition.
