This is a strong well made beautiful jade pendant. A jade Buddha pendant like this sells in Hong Kong for around $100. We purchased this lovely piece in a small dusty antique shop with one light bulb in Canton China in 1990. There were dozens of small stall shops mostly selling jade in several intersecting alley ways. Except for the few light bulbs it could have been right out of a back alley marketplace in the Middle Ages.
