Description: 5"W x 7"H. This is a lot of four (4) 5" x 7" photographs taken by artist Charles Sheldon of several models posing with high fashion clothing, stockings and high heels. These are unique photographs of Sheldon's hand drawn advertising and commercial illustrations and magazine cover illustrations, including one for Fox Shoes. One illustration is of Broadway star Helen Menken titled, "Courage." In the upper left corner "Helen Menken as Diane" is noted, referring to her role in the play "Seventh Heaven," which she portrayed to great acclaim several times in her career. Sheldon drew these sketches from photos of models taken in his studio.Each one of these beautiful photographs measures 5" x 7" with margins and are in good to very good condition with some edge and corner wear and fading. Each verso has a Charles Sheldon ink stamp.
