From the dressmaking genius of Alber Elbaz. Elbaz injected post-modern, intellectual whimsy into the finale of his Spring 2003 presentation for LANVIN with a series of silk dresses that had faux jewels sewn into a tulle neckline, which created the illusion of a floating necklace on the body. This dress features unfinished / raw hemlines, a Lanvin brand signature under Alber Elbaz. The rear has several cutout strips revealing the wearing's back in sensual glimpses. The bottom has several slits, which reveal the leg when in motion. Includes a black, grosgrain ribbon to tie around the waist, as the original ribbon has been lost.
