Description: J&L Oil Separator Company has redesigned its previous oil separator so the Black Anodized Driver Side 3.0 Oil Separator 3011D-B can now hold 3oz. of fluid. A rugged black anodized finish adds to the durable billet aluminum construction. Featuring a multistage filtering system, the fine oil vapors pass through two separate filters. First, a fine mesh stainless steel screen collects the vapors as they pass through until they become heavy enough to drop to the second filter. The oil droplets then pass through a 1/2” thick 1/16th” aluminum honeycomb filter where they grow into larger droplets and fall to the bottom of the canister, preventing the oil vapors from continuing on into the intake system.
