This second ever issue would feature articles with such noteworthy performers as activist Dick Gregory, ex NFL star turned actor Bernie Casey and some great nudes of Rosalind Miles who is known for cult classics such as Friday Foster, I Spit on your Corpse and Shafts Big Score. The magazine was a way to get the latest fashion trends along with significant culture changes of the time along with featuring some of the most beautiful women the country had to offer. The magazine was published by Bentley Morris and Ralph Weinstock, both white and doing business as Players International Publications. The duo had owned previous “nude” magazines such as Adam and Sir Knight, but this would be the duo’s first headfirst dive into a larger than life production as they saw the need for a magazine that would speak to and for the black community. The condition of the book is outstanding with just the smallest tear to the top of the cover which can be seen in the picture.
