Description: Rare January 1, 1916 Sporting Life Magazine with Jake Daubert on the cover. Complete issue, looks to have been removed from a bound volume. Cover has large split along spine that nearly separates it from the issue, but still has 2 inch portion connected. A vertical tear along the length of the cover can be seen by his hand. This has been repaired with tape that can be seen on the back of the page. The repair is very well done and hardly noticeable without close inspection. Very fragile and small chips and tears are common throughout. No major paper loss.
