The mahogany oxblood swirls have a wonderful patterns to them. This oxblood has a lot of sparkle to it when illuminated with a bright light source. This is a very cool feature. The other amazing thing about this Foxfire is the base glass...it has a spectacular variation of dark red pigments that resemble a sunrise. There is a burgundy and garnet red base glass that gently blends into the oxblood nicely. It is really something to see in hand. You will not be disappointed with this one. I try my best to take high resolution pictures with flash to show exactly what you are getting. I try to rotate the marble to give multiple views. This marble was manufactured using the 3/4" machine and the size of this particular marble is huge 0.763" in diameter measured with electronic calipers. Note 1: the dark pigments of this marble give bigger reflections than normal and the majority of reflections are sparkling glass material, not hit marks.
