The natural wood decking and bulkheads are made from premium hardwood, measuring approximately 0.022” thick (less than 1/32”). The one-piece decking and 2 bulkheads for each car have been custom designed, laser cut and precision etched to replicate the individual boards. Please Note: Due to the assembly process of attaching the bulkhead to the rail car deck, there are some irregularities from one pulp car to another, so slight trimming may to necessary. The hardwood can be distressed, stained, clear finish or weathered in the same manner as real hardwood. The hardwood can be attached to your railcar with double-faced tape or your favorite glue. All that is left is to display and admire your awesome work. Laser cut precision for true-scale accuracy. The power and precision of a laser engraver adds results that is nothing short of amazing!!
