Description: Early 1900s wood medical utility cart table featuring a slide through top drawer, lower cabinet with divided shelf and interior towel bar. I believe this is a very early Hill Rom piece. Founded in 1929, Hill Rom started manufacturing these all wood pieces to "bring the home into the hospital". This particular cabinet is unsigned but has a "Patent Applied for on Ventilation" label inside the top drawer.Overall VERY nice condition considering its age, with only minor wear here and there. The top is a hard wearing dark brown/black marbleized laminate, and is in excellent vintage original condition.The drawer and cabinet door have inset finger pulls. Cabinet is ventilated at the back, with original grey rubber edging along the front of the divided shelf. The drawer can be opened and closed via either side.
