Description: Henkel developed Bonderite M-CR 1132 Aero coating with the convenient Touch-N-Prep applicator pen to provide a clean, easy-to-use method of applying conversion coatings on aircraft and aircraft part surfaces. This unique conversion coating, using hex-chrome, provides a solid substrate that does not require rinsing, and can be air-dried or force-dried with hot air. The high-density acrylic tip of the Touch-N-Prep pen can be modified with a single-edge razor to form any shape. The design of the pen allows repair of hard-to-reach places or the underside of aircraft. The tip is replaceable and a tip for conversion coating holes is available from suppliers. This pen is new and unused with an expiration date of 9/17/2025. I used one of these pens to conversion coat the aluminum wing spar of an aircraft and I can attest to how easy it is to use. I applied an AkzoNobel Alumigrip 10P8-11 primer and the adhesion to this conversion coating was incredible strong. I have some additional documentation I can provide that was helpful for use and I may be able to assist with questions since I have just completed a project using this type of product. The documentation states that the pen treats up to 50 sq ft and I can attest that one pen is able to treat a very large area. A MIL-DTL-81706 approved pen for applying the chromate conversion coating.
