Handlebar width sizing note: Please be aware, the width of the 42cm, 44cm and 46cm HED GTO handlebars is inconsistent with the labeled size. After measuring several of these bars, we've concluded, in general, the labeled size is roughly the outside-to-outside width measurement of the bar, with the center-to-center width measurement being closer to 2.5cm narrower. Thus, a labeled 46cm bar has a center-to center width of approximately 43.5cm. A 44cm bar has a center-to-center width of about 41.5cm, and a 42cm bar will have a center-to-center width of about 39.5cm. With all that said, there may still be +/- 1cm variance in the width of these bars, thus we recommend these bars for riders looking for an exceptional value, and also those who do not need a strictly precise handlebar width. And with all that said, this is still a very well-made, lightweight alloy road bar, and we've built up a number of shop builds with them including employee race bikes!
