There is a story that on one occasion, the can was filled with beer, rather than water. It was one of his rare failures. Developed for the Appleton Brewery in Appleton, Wis. maker of Houdini Beer and Houdini Root Beer. Houdini Beer was originally produced by the Fox Classic Brewery in Appleton. The brewery is now closed. Buyer will also get a Houdini Beer label. The brand was purchased and then produced by the Appleton Brewing Co. That brewery is now closed. It has been replaced by the Stone Cellar Brewery. We only have a very limited number to sell. The steins were develped by Domex/Gerz, main offices in Hillscheid, Germany.
