Trader-BOB's MUSIC offers a 1930, H. Selmer Paris 4 Place Dancourt Alto Sax, serial number 13658. Great shape. All the keys function as they should, nothing bent or sluggish, no broken springs. The pads all look good, actually look newer than 1930. There is a dent, visible in pix # 10, near the top of the picture, and some scratches in pix # 16. There are normal signs of wear on the entire instrument. Unmarked mouthpiece. Nice bright finish, well cared for. I am not a sax player, due to a hand injury, I do not have enough fingers on my right hand to do so. I see no reason that this sax won't play, right out of the box. The case is a custom made Selmer case. It was made to carry (3) different instruments. When I got this, it had this saxophone in it, plus a Conn Soprano Sax, and a Noblet wooden Clarinet. With positions in the case to carry all three. I find this to be a very rare instrument, as there are virtually none listed for sale. Read my feedback, buy with confidence.
