Great America Doll Company PUYI Native American By Rotraut Schrott COA 23"

Description: Here is Puyi a wonderful Native American doll by German doll artist Rotraut Schrott for the Great America Doll Company GADCO. PUYI is a 23" long doll with vinyl posable head, chest, arms, and legs with cloth tightly stuffed cotton heavy torso. The top of the arms and legs are both signed by Rotraut Schrott and dated 1989. The doll is made to be posed in the seated position. Puyi has glass brown eyes with real upper and lower eyelashes, excellent feathered brows, and wonderful realistic glossy lips. He has black hair with an adorable colic in the center which sticks up straight. He is wearing a heavy cotton cream colored buttoned-up shirt with navy blue heavy shorts with colorful suspenders and fancy brass buttons. Unfortunately, you will notice a couple of yellowing age spots on the shirt. One is noticeable on the front sleeve and unfortunately there are more yellow spots on the back (see pictures). I have not attempted to clean the clothing and will leave this up to the buyer. Underneath the navy blue shorts you can see a layer of cotton colorful plaid sticking out. The doll comes with his original certificate of ownership which is unsigned by the previous owner. Unfortunately I do not have the original box.
