As offered here is the Vintage Original ( Genuine / Authentic ) Grateful Dead Backstage Pass ( sticker-patch / satin ) for the 1983 Spring Tour stop at the Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, Virginia ( VA ) on April 9, 1983 ( 4/9/1983 ) !!! And fortunately for Dead Fans back then & now ! - this Beauty ! of a G.D. Pass features an Art design by the one & only Rick Griffin !!! Wow ... Well, you may be very-familiar, especially if you caught Shows on this '83 Tour, or right around this ballpark era - because this Amazing ! design was initially used as one of the main official GDP T-Shirts for the Tour ! And, not just in '83, but a bit in '82 as well ! There were all kinds of colors too, white, black, grey, and even dark blue ! I don't know - but, for what it's worth & in my opinion ... this here is one of the coolest G.D. Images of All-Time ! And naturally, who created it ... " Griff " ! The Rock Art Master !! And, in addition to that - what makes this pass even more Eye-Catching to the Collector, is that this Pass not only features the Awesome-looking & Rare ! But, then again - this Guy here Loves ! his '83 Grateful Dead ! Ha !! Well, this Tour was no-joke, and when I say '1980's Dead' Fan Favorite - I really-mean it ! This one kicked off Out West in the AZ at Compton Terrace > then to Vegas at the Aladdin ! > then to Irvine Meadows > and then to the Warfield for a 3-run ... then that Dead Jet-Airplane ! headed back east for a South-to-North swing, that kicked off right-here at " Spaceship Hampton ! " on 4/9/1983 ( the East Coast Tour-Opener ! ) - much better known as the Hampton Coliseum ! > then on to WVU ! ... West Virginia University ! > then to Broome County ! in Binghamton, NY > to Burlington, Vermont ! > back to New York at Rochester ! > then to the Meadowlands ! - for 2-Nights w/ Steven Stills !! in the House - Live & On-Stage with the Dead ! > then on to Maine ! - in Orono, ME even ! at the University of Maine ! > then to Providence, R.I. ! at the Civic > to New Haven, CT ! ... and then to -- and I bet you can guess what's missing here my fellow Dead Fans ... yep - The Spectrum ! in Philly !! to close the book on this '83 Spring G.D. Tour. But, the reality is - the Book was never closed ! on ' This ' one, and here we are over 40-Years Later ! When in doubt, on the walk to the Nak ... Grab for '83 !!! Some completely Killer !
