Description: 1991 Godin Artisan TC. Excellent playing condition.Has some cosmetic wear—mostly tiny dents on the back. The usual surface swirls for a 31+ year old guitar. Overall, looks great. One small ding on the back that broke through the finish, and one shallow scrape on the side, below the lower bout—not noticeable when being played. Original pickups replaced by previous owner with DiMarzio rails (DP 188BK). Ebony fretboard, medium-jumbo frets. It’s been played enough that they are beautifully smooth, but barely worn down. I have string height (9-48gauge) at 2/32” and 3/32”, and it plays beautifully, with no buzzing or fretting out, even with big bends. The fretboard radius is right around 12, not sure exactly. Access to upper frets is exceptional. I’m a big Godin fan. The only reason I’m selling this is that, over the past year, I purchased 2 Godin Passions ( basically the recent incarnation of the Artisans—just Tele and Strat styles), and a Summit Classic A/E (Les Paul style). I can’t say they’re better, but we’ve really bonded, and I don’t have the space or finances to be a collector. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
