Description: For sale is a used vintage Garrard Model 770M automatic turntable with an AT-VM95C cartridge. Used this as my primary turntable for a year but it's time to let it go. Classic Garrard idler drive with 33/45/78 RPM speeds and a record changing system. Cosmetically it's in decent shape considering it's age. There's some deep gouges and swirls in the dust cover, but otherwise it looks clean overall. It does have a few issues: the tonearm tracks about fifty percent heavier than the cartridge spec, otherwise it will skip. Auto return is much too fast and the tonearm tends to swing back when cueing. Other than that, it appears to hold speed well and the mechanism isn't seized up by old grease like most of these old changers seem to be. Has the makings of a fun restoration project or a starter turntable. Vintage item sold as is, no returns accepted.
