Stayfast is an original material in many American and Japanese vehicles and is different than original in that it has a square weave and plain cotton interior lining. It has been coated and protection against the elements and UV rays to increase the life. Black will be similar to original. Non black colors will vary more from original German Classic. The topping material is made in the USA by the leading provider to the OEMs. To avoid folding problems and cuts/holes in the convertible top, tension straps should be replaced before the integrated elastic starts to degrade.
