Be sure to wipe the bit dry after each use so the rust will not build up unevenly. The Gustav Baby Fulmer can be used two ways. Use it the regular way, with the Fager horse logo on the right side, if your horse is seeking tongue relief. Signs of this are evading or fussing with the bit, not maintaining a steady connection, or trying to put his tongue over the bit. The other way to use the bit is upside down. This is useful for a horse that is stiff, won't seek contact, falls behind, or drops the bit. Using the bit upside down provides relief at the bars.
