Eureka Oxygen Canister Vacuum Cleaner EL6988 B

Description: This Eureka Oxygen Canister Vacuum Cleaner was purchased approximately 20 years ago from a home shopping channel. Note its condition is used, but it has not been frequently used! Approximately one year after purchase, the vacuum head stopped working due to hair tangled in the roller. I used to cut it out, but I think it happened too often. In addition, the extension connection to the vacuum head became so loose I couldn’t use it. I believe this has a lifetime guarantee. I contacted Electrolux, and they sent me to an “authorized” repair store. The same thing happened, and I gave up. I started using the floor brush instead, carpet and hardwood. It works very well with just the floor brush. If it worked, the vacuum head is adjustable based on carpet/ floor height. Additional information: on the negative side (apart from the vacuum head problem), the cord rewind works, but does not go all the way in if the bag is half full+. One of the wheel “hubcap” fell off but I still have it so it can be reattached. Additional information: on the positive side, all attachments/ accessories are included - the upholstery brush, crevice tool, and duster are like new and all fit in a holder (pictured). Four new vacuum bags included.. The vacuum features cord rewind, height adjustment, bag change indicator. Hepa filter is clean. This vacuum cleaner is made in Hungary, and I believe all Electrolux vacuums have a lifetime warranty. This is an excellent vacuum for someone who may need parts or someone who likes to work on things like this and fix them.
