Description: Vintage 1950'sEmilia PalombaSigned Ceramic SculptureSARDINIA WOMAN IN COSTUMESigned Approximately 11.5" Tall by 5.5' Wide, by 6.25" LongThis lovely sculpture is signed by hand on the inside of her skirt. The piece comes with a small leaflet discussing the artist and her works. This sculpture is in mostly very nice condition. She does have two small dings. One just under her right arm, it's very tiny and you have to turn her over to see it - very easy touch-up if desired. The other is ding is on the same arm at the top ( just over the the ding on the bottom). It is best observed from behind or above the piece. It's larger than the bottom ding, it, too, would be a fairly easy touch-up if desired, although you would still see that it's a ding without adding a teeny tiny bit of material. Picture #13 shows the smaller ding under the arm. Pictures #14-16 show the larger ding at the top of the arm - the first pic shows from the back, then the pics progress to the front of the piece. I consider both of these issues minor. The figure displays beautifully, and unless you're looking for the dings, they aren't really obvious. Bear in mind, too, these pieces are made to look a bit "rough" and the ceramic isn't always smooth along some of the lines of the piece.I'm adding a short video clip to the listing.
