I love to up-cycled old but still full of life hand embroidery linens, this bag is in excellent condition, I only machine sewn around the scallop white crochet border trim and around the top of the skirt and hot glued 3 pink rosettes around the top of the crochet skirt of the Belle to indicate the front side of the bag, the original owner used a medium weight woven cotton to made it, the white color is pristine, have no stains, holes, repairs or bad odors, the original piece was soak, wash and press with no starch, only the center part of the Runner with some damages was taken away, is 15 inches high from the top to the end of the crochet skirt and 16.5 inches wide - 33 inches around - counting the crochet border, have a narrow pink and white small checkered satin ribbon with darker pink wooden round beads at the end for easy close/open because was made as a drawstring bag just pull/stretch those ribbons, is a wonderful Christmas gift for any Lady in love with vintage hand embroidered Linen - specially the BELLE design, everybody will love it!
