Description: 1953 Sports Illustrated Dummy Issue #1!!! For sale is an original December 5, 1953 Sports Illustrated Dummy Issue #1. There were two test issues of Sports Illustrated, this is the first. They are much tougher to get than the first and second issues of Sports Illustrated. This is a nice magazine that is in excellent condition, except for some pencil writing on the front page and a 1" x 3" cut out on the last page. It is complete and solid with 140 pages. There is some very slight wear on the covers, but is a solid, tough to find magazine. This would be a great gift for any sports fan. Don't let this one slip away. If you have any questions, just ask.
