Description: Danzig Long Bridge Colored Etching Hand Signed - A Jensen - Germany Poland The colors have faded some and it is adhered to a mat. However, there does not appear to be any noticeable damage and is in otherwise excellent condition for an antique print. (Please see photos for condition.) The piece measures 11.5 x 14.5" including mat and the image itself measures about 7 x 10". We cannot find a lot of information on this piece but the pencil writing appears to say "Danzig Lange Brücke" translating to "Danzig Long Bridge" in English. It appears to be signed as Jensen. It appears to be presenting a historical view of the Motlawa River. Others offering copies of this print have identified the artist as A. Jensen, saying that he was born 1859 in Randers, Denmark. He was a painter and graphic artist and passed in Hamburg in 1935. We can find only a handful of offerings for this print, and all but one (in the U.S.) we can find are located in Europe.
