Description: This is a rare May 1989 playbill (with a loose ticket stub) from the Original Broadway production of the groundbreaking ALAIN BOUBLIL and CLAUDE-MICHEL SCHONBERG musical "LES MISERABLES" at the Broadway Theatre in New York City. (The production opened March 12th, 1987 at the Broadway Theatre, moved to the Imperial Theatre on October 17th, 1990 and ran for 6680 performances, becoming one of the four longest running Broadway musicals of all time.) ..... Based on the VICTOR HUGO classic, the cast included nine year-old DAISY EAGAN, making her Broadway debut as "Young Cosette" (Monday evenings) and "Young Eponine" (Saturday matinees). Two years later, Daisy Eagan would be honored as the youngest actress in Broadway history to win the Tony Award for her role as "Mary Lennox" in "The Secret Garden".
