Description: This later, 1982 edition of the Corgi 269 James Bond 007 Lotus Esprit from 'The Spy Who Loved Me' comes in the rare removable header card box with the very much rarer solid yellow insert. The Lotus itself is in excellent condition with virtually no signs of use. It is confirmed as the later model by the much shorter periscope. It remains affixed to the insert by the original retainers. There are 9 original rockets which are detached from the sprue, although the original sprue remains with the set. The much more common insert for this set is half yellow and half red. This much rarer version is all yellow, it is complete and in excellent, clean condition. The outer box does have moderate signs of age/storage but is complete with no missing inner or outer end flaps. The header card is complete and very good though there is a crease to the back where it has previously been folded. The original box window has mild wrinkling and a split but still displays beautifully.
