The Axis Pads flex profile is a pre-curved shape with a single internal break below the knee and no external break to optimize stiffness, coverage, and butterfly closure. Among the exciting performance technologies on the Axis leg pads is the LiteXCore Technology, an updated construction material that both reduces weight and adds strength. The new foams are stronger and stiffer meaning less is needed to provide a strong and structurally sound construction for maximum coverage in your butterfly. Another key performance benefit is Max Rebound+ technology, which provides CCM’s most powerful rebounds to date. The incredibly responsive foam is built into the face of the pad, and when combined with the LiteXCore Construction, rebounds shoot out away from harms way. For the exterior Of the CCM Axis Pro leg pads features a familiar but consistent SpeedSkin Technology material for superior sliding and durability. This sliding ability is accompanied by a 90-degree boot flex with a shallow channel and bungee toe string to allow goalies to load up for more powerful pushes across the crease and optimal pad rotation. The CCM Axis Pro leg pads combine the Quick Motion strapping system with a new molded calf stabilizer to provide goalies with a comfortable feel and performance benefits. This dual-density molded construction features a raised flat inner gusset for a better seal with the ice and powerful cross-crease movements. For the new Axis graphic, CCM has utilized UV printing for a hexa print design on the face of the pad, as well as new options in the customizer for gradient zones far added depth.
