Interesting story..The Wheeler Gift includes the Latimer Clark collection - focused on the history and theory of electricity and electronics (i.e. telegraphy, incandescent lights, etc). Originally, Andrew Carneige intended to buy the collection for the American Institute of Electrical Engineers library. However, Mr. Carnegie delayed the purchase. Meanwhile, Dr. Joseph Wheeler purchased the whole collection for the library, delighting Mr. Carneige who matched the purchase price ($6880.00) with a gift that was then used to create this bibliography....with its exquisite leather binding. Still an important resource for study of History of Science. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog
