Description: Carver C-4000 preamp/High Fidelity Control Console in great shape sonically and cosmetically. I have used this recently but have upgraded to a hybrid-tube preamp. It sounds and looks great. I've tested as much as I can (don't have a turntable anymore) and all seems well. This has the "legendary" Sonic Holography" feature and Auto-Correlation, which is a system that filters noises such as hiss from tapes. The top has some scratches that are evident in the photos.
