The bridge was demolished and rebuilt, starting in 1922. This was likely painted shortly before the demolition. The artist has signed to the lower right corner. On re-lined canvas. Condition The canvas has been fully re-lined, causing some discolouration. Inspection under UV light reveals some areas of restoration.
