Description: I found this beautiful ammonite in a Johnson County, Texas creek in early 2024. I cleaned it with a dremel 290, which took several hours. A crack was present even before I found it, so I used epoxy to fill the crack and then used a small amount of paint to blend it in. Its estimated age of 90-100 million years old places it in the age of dinosaurs, when a vast sea known as the western interior seaway covered the middle of the North American continent.
