Description: This is a 10000 Lire banknote issued by the Banca D'italia in 1982. It features Andrea del Castagno's Portrait Of A Man on the front and architectural images on the back. The note is circulated but is in crisp, excellent condition ( no folds or tears ) and was personally obtained during a visit to Italy in 1984 - and carefully stored since then. This is a superbly designed and printed note with multiple shades and colors. Another defining feature is the watermark on the right side of the front of the note which repeats the facial image from the left side.
