AUTHENTIC Native American Sterling Silver Double Strand Turquoise Necklace

Description: Very nice vintage Native American, Navajo hand-crafted sterling silver genuine turquoise & pen shell heishi double strand necklace. This lovely necklace is 21 3/4” long and weighs 39.1 grams. It has two strands of pen shell heishi beads and genuine turquoise nuggets neatly strung on sinew or similar material and finished with a sterling silver hook and eye clasp. This is a particularly nice example of an authentic Native American turquoise and heishi necklace. The artisan carefully spaced the turquoise with a care to proper graduation of the nuggets and finished the ends evenly with three silver beads on each strand, each carefully knotted to a sterling silver hook and eye clasp. The clasp is sterling silver. The beads are not sterling but are well made and solid. This necklace is in very good vintage condition with no damage other than minor age appropriate surface wear or oxidation.
