Antique Small Gebruder Kuhnlenz Black Bisque Head Doll 34-12

Description: Offered here for your consideration is an antique, small Gebruder Kuhnlenz black bisque head doll with old homemade clothes. It dates to the late 19th to early 20th century. The doll is in overall fair used estate condition with the legs detached, some wear to the composition body, and cotton cloth glued to the top of the head. The eyes are filled in and painted. (The doll needs to be restrung). The shirt seems to be sewn in place and the cotton "wig" is glued in place. Consequently, we have not been able to observe the top of the torso or the top of the head. Also, the homemade clothes fit only approximately. Otherwise, there are light surface scratches and scuffing here and there and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age. Measurements:Length: roughly measured ca. 4 1/2 in.
