Description: ANTIQUE REGENCY PERIOD ETUI NECESSAIRE LADIES FITTED SEWING BOX Description An antique Regency period Etui / ladies sewing box. The box itself has four small brass feet and a brass handle. The interior with fitted mirror inset and an original removable tray than contains a French Silver needle case and matching pricker (both original). A steel pair of scissors and a small silver plated thimble (thimble matched) Measures 4 3/4" 12cm across. Condition Generally good. Hinges replaced with associated flaw to wood. Does not shut perfectly / warped cover. Key lacking. Foxing to mirror glass. General age commensurate wear throughout.
