Description: Description:These great doors were salvaged from a Philadelphia Victorian.They are made of oak and are unpainted. Each has a glass opening at the top (no glass) with a wood panel below.The fronts are very ornate with carved moldings around the glass and panels.Above the glass are areas with fluting with carved pediments at the top.Below the glass are curved shelves with small corbels and carved wreathes with vines.The astrigal has a rope turned design.The backs are not as ornate.Most hardware will need to be replaced. They measure 49.25 inches wide together, 81.25 tall, and 2.25 inches thick.Overall they are in good condition. There are misc. scratches and dings as they are antique. They could use a good cleaning. The veneer is lifting in a few places. Please look at the pictures carefully. Ref: 52325 Shipping We have a 16 foot box truck for salvage jobs and delivery trips. In spring and fall we go from Pennsylvania to Atlanta, over to Houston, up to Kansas City and St. Louis then up into Iowa, Chicago and home through Michigan and Ohio. Trips to NYC and New England are as needed. We can personally deliver if you are somewhat close to these routes much cheaper than freight or uship. I needed doors, staircase parts, fireplace mantles and more, so I contacted the owners of a few local buildings that were scheduled for demolition. I found and purchased all of the things that I needed for my project and lots of extra treasures which I eventually resold. 17 years later this is still my full time job!
