Description: Antique bust of a smiling Young Boy - Belgium - Dimensions are ; 12 1/4" high , 7 7/8" wide at the shoulders , 5" deep - with a base measurement of 7 1/2" X 7 1/2" . Material is Green/Bronze painted hard plaster. Made in Belgium. This quaint bust of a smiling young boy is that kind of hopeful creation often seen having come out of Europe of the early 20th century. His head turned slightly to the right , it is an image reminiscent of Renaissance putti , joyful and seemingly untouched by worry as children should be. He sits on top of a black base adorned on 3 sides with gilded ribboned wreaths. It is a charming little piece in wonderfully perfect condition for its obvious age. There is a red oblong sticker on the bottom back which reads 'BELGIUM'.
