Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE ANTIQUE 19thC ARMENIAN SILVER PLATED SHABBAT CANDLESTICK, CHERUBS AND FILIGREE Description An antique Armenian repousse and filigree silver plated on copper candlestick, dating to the late 19th Century. The candlestick features a series of winged cherubs and angels around the conical base. The stem is formed of two ovoid knops either side of a detailed central filigree ball knop, leading up to a narrow sconce standing on a wide drip pan. The stem is attached to the conical base with a screw thread. There are no maker's or other marks visible. Dimensions: Height: 23 cm or 9 1/4 inches Weight: 214 grams Condition: In good antique condition, with expected age related wear and signs of use, and lead solder visible under the drip pan.
