Description: Nice original 1867 volume from the Works of Charles Dickens which contains his Christmas Books, including: A Christmas Carol, The Chimes, The Cricket on the Hearth, The Battle of Life, and The Haunted Man. It also contains his Sketches from Boz. The book is overall in very good condition with some minor signs of wear and age. The covers have some minor wear. The binding is good and sound. There is a later name inscription in blue ballpoint pen to the backside of the frontispiece. Along with that there may be the occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection such as a light bit of foxing or grubbiness, minor staining, tiny chip or tear, creased page corner, etc. Generally though, it's a nice copy. The book measures approximately 5 7/8 inches by 5 1/8 inches and is 500 pages long with a few black and white illustrations. Please look at all the photos to further note the condition.
