Description: Very beautiful Small CDV album c. late 1860s era The album has lovely wood inlaid cover panels, the front with artwork of a young woman riding a mule. The interior of the album houses 19 Louis Prang Chromolithograph Print Cards from some of his various series, including (2) Moths & Butterflies, (3) Leafs, (5) Birds, (3) Flowers, (3) Moss, (2) Berries, and (1) Fruit The inner first page is marked in pencil "Johannie S. Wright - La Grange House - from Grandma - My Birthday" Album Measures approx. 3-5/8" x 5-1/4" x 1-3/8" Condition:Album - there is moderate visible scratching to both covers, with heavy left-side corner chipping on the fton and right-side rear wood panels. Clasp arm is missing,. Spine is a bit loose with top leather section missing. Interior Pages show moderate discoloration and edge wear, with some tears. Prang Chromos - color remains vibrant and lovely across the prints. All prints show moderate - heavy foxing / discoloration, mostly in the exposed window area.Shipping:We have a 3-Business Day Handling Time.
