Description: This auction is for a very nice, rare, antique Staffordshire Children’s Nursery Rhyme style collector plate dated from the 1850’s and from the OUR EARLY DAYS collection. This specific plate is titled- “The Young Nurse”. This plate for being roughly 175 years old is in great shape. It of course does have your typical wear of antique pottery with a bit of slight discolouration, and some very faint crazing on the back, but other then that it has been well taken care of over the years. It still has a bright and non faded image. The only condition issue worth specifically nothing is that it does have a tiny (less than 0.5cm) chip along the edge of the plate. You can’t notice it from the front of the plate where it would be displayed and it’s even hard to see when looking directly at it from the back. I took a closeup photo of the entire plate so you will have a good idea of the overall condition of this item.
